Hi! We’re John and Rita, owners of the Little Aussie Bakery & Cafe, a 100% gluten-free establishment located in San Antonio, Texas. We, along with our five children, have been gluten-free for nearly 40 years. We discovered early on that we all functioned so much better on a gluten-free diet. Seems simple, right?
Except there’s that whole thing about having to feed seven hungry (and discerning) mouths every day. Rita saw this as a great challenge and made it her personal mission to create the best gluten-free bread on the planet! On this quest, there have been a lot of ups and downs and quite a few wonky loaves thrown in the bin. But we slowly started to figure things out, and today we can proudly say we make some of the best gluten-free bread anyway! After all this, we feel that we know a few things about gluten-free living and eating, and we want to share with you! Come join us on this amazing journey!
